Super Bowl XLVII may be coming this Sunday, Feb. 3, but for those families with pets who aren't as interested in watching the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens go head-to-head, there's another sporting event to enjoy.
Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl IX will also take place on Sunday, and feature more than 30 dogs, each available for adoption. New this year, too, will be a group of hedgehogs to cheer on the pups.
The Puppy Bowl begins at 3 p.m. Eastern Time, and in celebration of the animal-themed event, we're asking Patch readers to submit photos of their pets. Photos do not need to be Super Bowl (or Puppy Bowl) themed.
