After jumping out to an early lead and holding Milford scoreless over the first 5:05 of Tuesday's game, the Stoughton High girls' basketball team cruised to a 59-32 win at home.
With the win, Stoughton improves to 8-5 on the season, snapping a three-game losing streak. Milford, meanwhile, falls to 0-14. This is the Black Knights' second win of the season against the Scarlet Hawks, with Stoughton earning a 28-point win on the road back in December.
This time around, Stoughton led 17-6 after the first and took a 36-17 lead into the half en route to a 27-point win.
Nicole Daniels led the Black Knights with 18 points. Mackenzie McGrath added 12 and Emma Zuk and Ashley Medeiros scored 7 points each. Kayla Motley chipped in with 5 points; Alecia Quinones had 4 and Marlena Siegel had 3.
Milford was led by Jenise Madden and Mikaela DeMaria, who both had 7 points.
Stoughton will host 3-11 King Philip Friday at 6:30 p.m.
